On Practice and Regularity
Practice is often imagined as something intense or extraordinary, but in reality it unfolds quietly through regularity and attention. What matters is not how much is done on any given day, but whether one returns again and again to the discipline.
At the ashram, practice is approached without haste. Each session is treated as complete in itself, without comparison to previous days or expectations for future progress.
This approach allows practice to mature naturally, without strain or ambition, and gradually become part of one’s way of living rather than an activity to be completed.
